We as a team want to be genuine and patient
as we share Jesus with others,
becoming more comfortable talking about our faith
with strangers and friends.
We want our relationship with God
and our faith in Him to grow and be
strengthened through prayer
as we shape our world view
and that of our readers.
We want to be an encouragement to
the missionaries and Christians
in Salvador as we live in the Spirit.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can they preach unless they are sent?
As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
– Romans 10:14-15
Good work on the mission statement guys! I'm so pumped for your team and for each of you as individuals and for your readers who you have yet to meet. This summer is going to be amazing and I pray life changing for each one of you! I've told you all before but I will tell you again that I am praying for each of you daily as you prepare and as you go and even as you come home. Also I'm super pumped that you will be blogging along the way. Looking forward to following your adventures!
ReplyDeleteWe look forward to reading about the many ways God will manifest Himself to each of you as you use your summer in ministry to the people of Salvador. We will be praying for each of you, as well as your readers and the missionaries who will be walking with you on this LST project. May you plant many seeds in fertile hearts as your faith grows on the journey. Blessings,
ReplyDeleteBernard and Alicia Krosgsgaard (aka Dad and Mom)
